We recognize that life has become so busy with so many activities for all members of the family that many families have little time
for the entire family to spend togehther. We have discovered that other communities around the nation have started "Family Nights" to help
slow things down a bit. On a designated night of your choosing, we re asking families to make a commitment to stay home. We hope to encourage
everyone in the family to stay home from dance lessons, sports activities and meetings so that the family can have some uninterrupted time to
enjoy together on this special night. Suggestions for activities for "Family No Homework Night" include playing board games together, baking
cookies or popping popcorn and watching old family movies together. We hope that you will block out one night each grading period and help us
with the "Family No Homework Night" idea. All you have to do is:
- Pick one night for family time
- Plan a family activity
- Fill out the No Homework Pass
- Send the pass to schol to let us know what your family did together
As always, thanks for your support. You may choose any night in this 3rd grading period, January 4 through March 11. The homework pass
CAN NOT be saved; there will be one for each grading period. Please realize homework must be completed on the other nights. We look forward
to your suggestions and feedback.
Look for the "Family Home Night" flyer coming home with your child and please return the attached form by March 11 .
