Transportation Changes
Madisonville Elementary will not accept transportation changes over the phone unless there is an extreme emergency. In the past, we have
received between 30 and 40 transportation changes throughout the day, causing confusion for the children. Many of these
calls were received after 200pm, making it particularly difficult to get the message to a child and their teacher in a timely manner.
Effective January 5, 2009, Madisonville Elementary's policy on transportation changes will be:
- Any changes in transportation must be sent in writing to the teacher. NO changes can be made without this written authorization. When making this written
request, please include the following information: date, child's full name, teacher's name and grade, bus driver's name and bus number and parent signature.
- Children will not be allowed to check out after 200pm, unless there is an emergency.
- Students who are tardy, absent or check out early, excused or unexcused, will not be eligible for Perfect Attendance recognition.
Please direct any questions regarding transportation policies to the school's administration. Our policies are developed strictly for your child's protection.
